    Rejuvenate Your Skin With Lytera

    Posted by:

    Lytera for skin rejuvenation

Whether it involves your health, your work, or relationships with family or friends, maintenance is the key to success.  In my previous blogs, I discussed my 5 favorite anti-aging products and today I would like to highlight one of them.  It is a product by Skinmedica called Lytera.  I personally use this product in between my chemical peels to help reduce any sun damage, help exfoliate my skin and to help me maintain a healthy glow.  This product is wonderful for those of you who are not ready to use chemical peels or as a maintenance product in between your series of chemical peels.

Lytera is excellent for treating sun damage/sun spots/age spots, hyperpigmentation or melasma by helping to lighten and brighten your skin. It contains four main ingredients including Retinol and a lipid-soluble form of Vitamin C which allows for better absorption, unlike a number of over-the-counter products with vitamin C that is not lipid soluble.

Lytera, is a wonderful product that has replaced the prescription Hydroquinone 4% cream that was used by dermatologist in the past to treat sun damage. Unlike Hydroquione, which is toxic to the body after a month, Lytera is very safe and can be used long term.

As much as I love the summer, I am ready for the beautiful fall season including beautiful rejuvenated skin.
