Juvéderm Vollure™ XC is the most recent addition to the Juvéderm family of fillers. How Vollure™ Works
During your treatment session, Dr. Chugh will inject small amounts of Vollure™ beneath the targeted lines and folds. The active ingredient in Vollure™ is hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance that creates volume and smoothness in the skin. Once injected, hyaluronic acid instantly increases volume in the treated area. As volume increases, folds and lines become less visible and the skin appears replenished and supple.
Vollure™ harnesses the power of Juvéderm’s patented Vycross technology, which uses a unique formulation of hyaluronic acid molecules to achieve the desired result. The specific molecule weight of Vollure™ allows for a more natural look and prolongs the length of the results.
How Is Juvéderm Vollure™ Different from Juvéderm® XC?
Juvéderm® XC was the first product created by Juvéderm® to treat moderate to severe lines and wrinkles around the lips and mouth for up to one year. The major difference between the two products is that Vollure™ offers longer-lasting results. Most of our patients will enjoy the results of their treatment for up to 18 months! It is also less hydrophilic resulting in less swelling.
